Are you looking to develop your career within residential conveyancing and join a well-established and respected law firm?
We are working with a well respected firm who are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy and successful Residential Property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Assistant looking to join a supportive team and play a key role in progressing residential property transactions.
The successful candidate will work closely with fee earners, providing high-quality support across a varied caseload and helping ensure matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.
The role will involve:
- Supporting fee earners with the day-to-day management of residential conveyancing files
- Assisting with the progression of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Preparing and reviewing conveyancing documentation
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties
- Requesting and reviewing property searches and relevant documentation
- Providing regular updates to clients and assisting with enquiries
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
- Supporting the team with general administrative and case management duties

The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within residential conveyancing
- A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confident communication skills with a client-focused mindset
- Experience using a legal case management system would be advantageous
