Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Morley/ Bradford / West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £29,000 DOE
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm. Supporting a busy Residential Property team, you will play a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

The Role

You will work closely with Fee Earners, providing administrative and transactional support on a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Opening and closing client files
  • Preparing contract packs and legal documents
  • Submitting searches and dealing with Land Registry applications
  • Assisting with exchanges and completions
  • Managing client and third-party correspondence
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries
  • Preparing completion statements and supporting post-completion work
  • Maintaining accurate case management records

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Conveyancing Administrator or Property Legal Secretary
  • Knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
  • Experience using case management systems would be advantageous
