Conveyancing Assistant

A highly respected, multi-service law firm in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its successful and growing Residential Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking and progressive firm that prides itself on delivering exceptional client service and investing in its people.

Working as part of a busy and supportive residential property team, you will provide legal and administrative support to a team of experienced Conveyancers, assisting on a varied range of residential property matters.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Client onboarding and opening new files
  • Requesting and reviewing property searches
  • Drafting contracts and legal documentation
  • Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Supporting on complex residential property matters
  • Assisting with secured lending transactions
  • Providing support on development work
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
  • General file management and administrative duties throughout the conveyancing process

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • A minimum of 6 months' current experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal
  • Experience supporting residential conveyancing transactions
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
