A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to join its busy Residential Property team in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous residential conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional team.
The Role
You will provide day-to-day support to the conveyancing team and assist with the smooth progression of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting solicitors and fee earners with a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
- Opening and setting up new files and carrying out initial client due diligence.
- Preparing and issuing correspondence and legal documentation.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other third parties.
- Obtaining and reviewing property searches and relevant documentation.
- Assisting with exchange and completion processes.
- Conducting post-completion administration, including registration and file closure.
- Updating clients regularly and providing a high standard of client care.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring files are progressed efficiently.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within residential conveyancing, ideally as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
- A good understanding of the residential property transaction process.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
- The confidence to work independently while also contributing to a wider team.
