Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Residential Conveyancing team in the North offices as a Conveyancing Fee Earner. We are looking to make several appointments and have multiple positions available in our Sheffield, Leeds & York offices, supporting our clients through sales, purchases, and re-mortgages of residential property.
We are currently on a recruitment drive across the firm in response to significant organic growth together with several major client wins. Now is a great time to join the business and grow your career with us.

Reporting to the Head of Department, the roles are onsite, working in one of our offices, and are full time, permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Running your own case load consisting of buying, selling, and re-mortgaging residential properties
- Meeting clients and taking detailed instructions
- Giving basic, clear advice on all aspects of conveyancing
- Maintaining client confidentiality at all times
- Opening and maintaining files in accordance with office procedures
- Confirming instructions and advice to clients in writing
- Conducting negotiations with other parties
- Managing your case load to ensure that cases are progressed, closed, and billed as appropriate
- Referring matters to other senior members of the team as appropriate
- Undertaking training and developing
- Ensuring that all time spent is recorded
- Ensuring adherence to GDPR regulations at all times
- Any other tasks as required by the Head of Residential Conveyancing

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will:
- Have at least 1-3 years’ experience in a Conveyancing role
- Have exceptional client service skills, going above and beyond client expectations
- Enjoy working in a team and thrive in a busy environment
- Have great personal organization skills
- Be computer and IT literate
- Disclosure will be required in the event that a position is offered.
