We are working with an established law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong residential conveyancing experience who is confident managing their own caseload and taking transactions from initial instruction through to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload, with a particular focus on sales and purchases.

Responsibilities

  • Managing residential sales and purchases from instruction through to completion
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
  • Reviewing contracts, title documentation, and property information
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Managing exchange and completion processes
  • Keeping clients updated throughout the transaction
  • Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records and managing competing deadlines across a busy caseload

Requirements

Applicants should have strong practical experience in residential conveyancing and be comfortable managing files independently. The successful candidate is likely to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience handling residential sales and purchases
  • The ability to manage their own caseload from start to finish
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Confidence dealing with third parties including agents, lenders, and other solicitors
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach
  • The ability to work effectively within a busy property team

This role would suit an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or similarly experienced residential property professional.
