Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer – Middlesbrough – Competitive Salary + Bonus
Are you an experienced residential conveyancer looking for a role where you can take ownership of your caseload while playing a genuine part in growing a successful team? We’re looking for a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years’ PQE to join an established residential conveyancing team in Middlesbrough. This is an opportunity to work with a strong local client base, handle a varied caseload and contribute to the continued growth of the department.
What you’ll be doing:
• Managing your own varied caseload across the full range of residential property transactions • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new builds, Help to Buy, lease extensions and buy-to-let matters • Providing high-quality, proactive advice and maintaining excellent standards of client care throughout each transaction • Working towards the continued maintenance of CQS accreditation, ensuring the necessary standards and processes are consistently followed • Building strong relationships with clients and providing a service that encourages repeat business and recommendations • Developing relationships with estate agents, brokers and other professional referrers to generate new business • Supporting the wider growth and development of the residential conveyancing team • Potentially getting involved in commercial property work, with freehold and leasehold commercial experience being advantageous but not essential

Requirements
What we’re looking for: • A qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years’ PQE • Proven experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload independently • Comfortable dealing with a broad range of freehold and leasehold transactions • Strong client care skills and a genuine commitment to delivering a high-quality service • Organised, commercially aware and able to manage a busy caseload effectively • A proactive approach to business development and relationship building • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively but is confident taking ownership of their own work
