Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Conveyancing Fee Earner role based in Liverpool. The role involves managing a caseload of residential and, where appropriate, commercial conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. - Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Conducting title checks and property searches
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Ensuring all matters progress in line with regulatory requirements and firm procedures

The Conveyancing Fee Earner will prepare completion statements, handle exchange and completion arrangements, maintain accurate file management and documentation, and use case management systems to track progress. The role also includes supporting colleagues, contributing to best practice within the conveyancing team, and upholding the firm’s standards of client care and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Experience managing a residential (and ideally commercial) conveyancing caseload, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Strong knowledge of UK property law, Land Registry procedures, lender requirements, and regulatory compliance in conveyancing practice.
- Proficiency in using legal case management systems, document drafting tools, and standard MS Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and maintain professional client correspondence.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and multiple files efficiently.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a legal team and build positive working relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, legal executive, or experienced conveyancing fee earner with relevant practice-based training.
- Commitment to ethical practice, diversity and inclusion, and delivering high standards of client service.
