Job Title: Conveyancing Lawyer (Locum basis)
Location: Office-based, Battersea, SW11
Salary: £100,000 P/A pro-rata rate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:30pm
Employment Type: Full-time (ON A LOCUM-BASIS)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years (PQE) to join our in-house legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a wide range of property matters and ensuring seamless execution of transactions. This is a hands-on, office-based position requiring strong technical ability, commercial awareness, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions
- Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative and legal support to partners and fee earners across the property department.
- Assist in post-completion matters, including registration and stamp duty submissions.

Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years PQE with a strong background in property law (residential and/or commercial)
- UK Qualified
- Commutable distance to Battersea SW11
- Proven experience handling a high-volume caseload.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, professional environment.
