As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary just outside Edinburgh
You'll support the smooth running of the professional services team by handling essential administrative tasks and assisting with conveyancing processes. Your role will ensure efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day operations, helping the team deliver excellent service.

Description
- Prepare and manage legal documents related to conveyancing transactions.
- Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team, including diary management and correspondence.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both digital and physical.
- Handle incoming calls and enquiries, ensuring professional and prompt responses.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of forms and applications required for property transactions.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure key milestones in the conveyancing process are met.
- Perform general office duties to support the smooth running of the department.

Profile
A successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary should have:
- Previous experience in a similar secretarial role within professional services.
- Knowledge of conveyancing procedures and terminology.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using office software and legal document management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
