Conveyancing Legal Secretary

We’re working with an award-winning law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy Conveyancing team.
The Role
Working closely with the Conveyancing team, you’ll provide dedicated secretarial and administrative support, helping fee earners manage their caseloads efficiently and ensuring client matters and files are kept accurate and up to date.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Audio and copy typing correspondence, including letters, legal forms, and quotes
- Answering telephone calls in a polite, professional, and efficient manner
- Providing general administrative support, including photocopying and updating client details
- Filing correspondence and ensuring files are maintained accurately and kept up to date
- Arranging appointments and dealing directly with clients
- Accessing and inputting information into the firm’s client case management system
- Working closely with other secretarial colleagues as part of the wider team
- Providing secretarial and telephone cover when required
- Handling confidential client and firm information with discretion
- Supporting the Conveyancing team to ensure matters progress smoothly and efficiently

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Conveyancing environment
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing a busy and varied workload
- An efficient and accurate typist
- Confident using IT systems and case management systems
- Professional and confident when communicating with clients
- Friendly, approachable, and able to build positive working relationships
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
- Proactive and committed to providing a high level of secretarial and administrative support
