Residential Property Paralegal
Two opportunities available: Leigh-on-Sea and Chelmsford

We are hiring on behalf of a law firm which is a vibrant, family-run practice with big ambitions, strong commercial momentum and a real sense of personality. We currently have two exciting opportunities for Residential Property Paralegals, with one position based in Leigh-on-Sea and one in Chelmsford. About the Role
We are delighted to offer exciting opportunities for proactive Residential Property Paralegals with 2+ years' experience to become part of their trusted and successful team. Working closely with their experts, you will provide high-quality administrative support and assistance, playing an important role in ensuring their work is delivered efficiently and to the exceptional, personable standards their clients expect. These are fantastic opportunities to build on your existing experience, develop your skills and make a genuine contribution to a successful residential property team. Depending on the role, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in new-build transactions, including progressing matters through the early stages of the transaction.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
You will play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring transactions progress smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for clients, developers, brokers and other parties
- Processing clients' initial onboarding documentation, including carrying out ID checks and reviewing proof of funds
- Working within Infotrack, with training provided
- Preparing completion statements
- Dealing with LISA and HTB ISA withdrawals
- Dealing with NHBC warranty portals
- Completing Local Authority, Chancel and other relevant pre-exchange searches
- Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Registry Forms
- Assisting with general team administration
- Working collaboratively to support team targets and KPIs
- Dealing with exchange and completion work
- Assisting with source of funds and AML checks

You'll be a great fit if you're:
- Experienced in the same or a similar role, with 2+ years' experience
- A confident and clear communicator with a friendly telephone manner
- Organised, proactive and able to maintain quality in a busy environment
- Experienced in supporting multiple fee earners
- IT-confident, with case management experience desirable, but not essential
- A reliable team player with a strong client-focused approach

There are two positions available:
Leigh-on-Sea
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
Chelmsford
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
