Background

Our plot sales specialists work with various house associations, offering expert advice in the sale of new build properties. We do not deal with part exchange. We have an opportunity for an experienced Paralegal/Licensed Conveyancer to join the team.

The role

  • Dealing with plot sales caseload primarily but there will be buy backs and staircasing and redemptions in relation to shared ownership/shared equity properties
  • Meeting the needs of the housing association clients all who have different procedural requirements.
  • Assisting with new site set up.
  • Giving additional support to other team members during their holiday periods to ensure clients consistently receive the same level of service.
  • Maintaining daily schedules and reports.
  • Drafting of ancillary legal documents such as transfers, and shared ownership leases.
  • Attending client meetings.
  • Reporting to clients daily and keeping them updated on progress.
  • Supporting the needs of the rest of the team and assisting with the training of new colleagues

Skills & Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have conveyancing experience and a high level of administrative and IT skills.
  • They will also have excellent client care skills, be able to manage their own case load and be comfortable in working within a fast-paced environment.
  • In addition, they will have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
