About the Role
Our client based in the heart of the City, recognised within the Legal 500, are seeking to add a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to work in our client's Post-Exchange team. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience. Hybrid working, private healthcare, and life assurance are some of the many benefits on offer.
The successful candidate will play a vital role within the team, dealing with a significant number of transactions from the point of exchange of contracts to completion and beyond to registration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and approve transfer deeds and leases
- Prepare for the execution and completion
- Review replies to pre-completion requisitions
- Submit and review searches
- Preparing SDLT returns and arranging payment
- Prepare AP1 applications
- Provide regular updated reporting to the partner lead
- Take an active role and responsibility in training and developing more junior members of the team
- Provide the team with progress reports
- Review post-exchange and post-completion processes

Person Specification
- At least two year’s PQE as a Solicitor, CILEx Lawyer, or Licensed Conveyancer in the UK
- Experience in dealing with Post Completion registrations and matters in volume
- Experience of supervising a team of paralegals
- Competent in all MS applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to be client-focused and have an approachable manner
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work with limited supervision with the ability to prioritise workload to increase efficiency
