Conveyancing Solicitor Buxton
We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join an established legal team based in Buxton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with strong residential property experience who is looking to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and professional environment.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of matters from initial instruction through to completion while building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage a varied residential property caseload and provide clear, practical legal advice throughout each transaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Acting for clients on sales, purchases and remortgages
- Reviewing contracts, title documents and property information
- Ordering and reviewing property searches
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Identifying and resolving title and transaction issues
- Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
- Managing exchange and completion
- Dealing with post-completion requirements
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Keeping clients regularly updated on the progress of their matters
- Managing deadlines and progressing transactions proactively
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client files
- Providing a high standard of client care
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements

About You
We're looking for a confident and client-focused Conveyancing Solicitor with solid experience in residential property.
You should have:
- Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales
- Strong residential conveyancing experience
- Proven ability to manage your own caseload
- Good technical knowledge of residential property law and procedure
- Experience handling transactions from instruction through to completion
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- A proactive approach to progressing matters
- Confidence dealing with clients and professional stakeholders
- A strong commitment to client service and compliance

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on conveyancing solicitor who can take ownership of their caseload and keep transactions progressing efficiently.
You'll be confident dealing with clients, resolving issues and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure matters reach completion smoothly.
This role would suit a Conveyancing Solicitor, Residential Property Solicitor or experienced Property Solicitor looking for their next opportunity in Buxton.
