Job Overview

We are looking for a personable and dedicated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/CILEX/Fee Earner to join our busy residential conveyancing department. In this role, you will manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages. In this fee-earning role, you will work closely with our excellent support staff, to guide clients through all aspects of the transaction from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Provide clear, timely advice to clients on legal procedures, documentation, and potential issues
  • Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with estate agents to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Review property searches, undertake land registry title checks, and undertake due diligence to ensure legal compliance
  • Keep clients informed of progress and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high service standards
  • Maintain meticulous case records and ensure all files are compliant with regulatory requirements
