Conveyancing Specialist / Solicitor

About the Role
Themis Crown Advocates is seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Specialist / Solicitor to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled property law professional to manage a varied and interesting conveyancing caseload while delivering an exceptional level of service to clients. The successful candidate will take ownership of matters from initial instruction through to successful completion.
We welcome applications from SRA-registered Solicitors, as well as experienced non-qualified Conveyancers with strong practical experience managing conveyancing transactions independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters.
- Handle property sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
- Conduct title investigations and review Land Registry documentation.
- Obtain, raise and review property searches and enquiries.
- Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documentation.
- Liaise directly with clients throughout the conveyancing process.
- Work closely with estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and opposing solicitors.
- Identify and resolve legal and practical issues affecting property transactions.
- Ensure transactions progress efficiently and are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and case management records.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and firm requirements.
- Deliver a high standard of client care and professional communication.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor registered with the SRA is desirable.
- Experienced Licensed Conveyancers and non-qualified Conveyancers with substantial hands-on experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience managing conveyancing transactions independently.
- Demonstrable experience handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
- Knowledge of Land Registry procedures, title investigation and property law.
- Experience in residential conveyancing is essential; commercial conveyancing experience would be advantageous.
