Cook (Permanent Part-Time) – Delicious & Nutritious Meals

We’re seeking passionate, reliable Cooks who love preparing wholesome, delicious food while contributing to a nurturing community-focused charity.

About the Role

As part of our friendly team, you’ll create tasty, nutritious meals that help our young residents feel at home. Ideally, you bring:

  • Cooking experience, especially with homemade meals
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition and food hygiene best practices
  • A warm, dependable attitude to work in a community setting
  • Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, lively environment where every day feels different

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook delicious, nutritious meals daily
  • Ensure high food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
  • Adhere to operating schedules (Monday–Friday, 8.30am–1.30pm)
  • Work flexibly and collaboratively in a team environment

Working Details

  • Hours: 25 hours per week
  • Contract: Permanent, part-time
  • Salary: £15,313 – £16,995
  • Term: 48.2 weeks

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship unavailable)
  • Strong commitment to excellence in cooking and community care
