Role Description
This is a Part/Time, on-site Cook role based at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club in Kilsyth. The Cook prepares hot and cold menu items, including breakfasts, light lunches & snacks, following established recipes and portion standards. Responsibilities include:

The Cook maintains a clean and safe kitchen, supports stock control, and assists with ordering and storage of ingredients. The role also involves working closely with front-of-house staff, adjusting to busy periods, and following all food safety and hygiene procedures.
Qualifications
- Professional cooking skills, including basic food preparation, grilling, baking, and plating.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Experience working in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and peak golf club hours.
- Relevant culinary training or certification in food hygiene is an asset.
