Cook Opportunity at Trust Housing, Dumfries
Trust Housing has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team in Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, on a permanent part-time contract of 24.5 hours (average) per week.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu.
As a Cook your duties would involve:
- Menu planning
- Ordering ingredients
- Preparing meals
- Working alongside the catering assistant

What We Offer
- 24.5 hours average per week on a 2-week rolling rota:
- Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- 10:00am to 6:00pm (1-hour unpaid break)
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.04

Requirements
- Ability to move around the kitchen
- Adept in multi-tasking
- Experience with various ingredients and cooking techniques (advantage)
- Ensure kitchen organisation and efficiency
- Follow food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures
