Are you a skilled and passionate cook who takes pride in preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals? Would you like to use your catering skills in a role where every meal you prepare makes a real difference to children and families?
At Demelza, we're looking for a friendly and compassionate Cook to join our team. You'll help create a welcoming environment by providing high-quality meals and snacks for children, families, visitors, volunteers and colleagues, contributing to the exceptional care and support we provide every day.

What You'll Do:
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks.
- Cater for special dietary requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Support events and celebrations across the hospice.
- Work with volunteers and colleagues to deliver an excellent catering service.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working in a professional kitchen.
- Passion for providing high-quality, home-cooked food.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe working practices.
- A flexible, reliable and organised approach.
- Excellent teamwork and people skills.
- A commitment to Demelza's values of compassion, quality and respect

This is more than a catering role. It's an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team helping children with serious or life-limiting conditions and their families.
This is a part time role of 20 Hours per Week.
