A well-established deli in Cockermouth is looking to recruit a Cook to join its production team. This role focuses mainly on the preparation of home-made pies and meal prep for the deli.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of home-made pies and baked savoury items
  • Daily meal preparation for the deli counter
  • Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all food produced
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
  • Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a catering, deli, or kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to work early morning shifts reliably
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
