MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FURNITURE INDUSTRY London | Full-time £50,000–£60,000 + bonus

We are working with one of the UK’s leading commercial furniture dealers to appoint a Coordination Manager.

This is a senior, operations-led management position for someone who understands how a commercial furniture business works and the level of detail required behind a successful project.

The role focuses on supporting, mentoring and improving a team of Account Managers, helping them become more organised, consistent and effective across the administrative, commercial and project detail of their roles.

This is not a sales position.

THE ROLE

You will work closely with Account Managers, Sales Managers, Project Managers and Operations, helping ensure projects and client accounts move through the business properly.

The role is about bringing structure, attention to detail and accountability to the Account Management function.

You will help Account Managers manage workloads, keep information accurate, follow processes, improve handovers and maintain the level of detail required to deliver projects successfully.

You are not there to sell on behalf of the team. You are there to mentor, manage and improve how they work.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Managing and mentoring Account Managers from a coordination and administrative perspective.
  • Helping individuals prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Improving consistency, organisation and attention to detail across the team.
  • Ensuring quotations, specifications, orders and project information are accurate and complete.
  • Helping create stronger working practices and better internal processes.
  • Making sure opportunities and live projects move through the business correctly.
  • Improving handovers between Account Management, Project Management and Operations.
  • Identifying gaps, bottlenecks and recurring issues before they become larger problems.
  • Coaching team members who need more structure, organisation or confidence.
  • Creating accountability and maintaining high standards.
  • Working closely with senior management to improve the overall performance of the commercial team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ABOUT YOU

For this role, commercial furniture industry experience is essential.

You will ideally have worked for a commercial furniture dealer, consultancy or furniture brand in a position such as Sales Coordination Manager, Senior Sales Coordinator, Coordination Manager, Commercial Operations, Senior Account Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or a senior administrative or operational support role within a furniture sales environment.

You should already be familiar with the journey from enquiry and specification through quoting, ordering, project management and delivery.

You are likely to be exceptionally organised and highly attentive to detail, with strong experience across coordination, administration, operations or logistics.

You will be confident managing and mentoring people, comfortable challenging poor habits and improving standards, and good at managing flow, process and information.

You should be calm across multiple projects and competing priorities, familiar with quotations, specifications, orders and project documentation, and able to work effectively across Sales, Account Management, Project Management and Operations.

You will be process-minded without being overly bureaucratic, positive, practical and solutions-focused.

Most importantly, you should be more interested in making a business work well than becoming a salesperson.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to take a senior coordination role within one of the strongest commercial furniture dealers in the UK. The business already has an established team, excellent clients and an exceptional project portfolio.

They are now looking for someone who understands the detail behind successful furniture projects and can use that experience to develop people, improve processes and raise standards across the Account Management team.

For someone who has built their career in furniture coordination, sales support or commercial operations and is ready to step into a broader management role, this is a very strong next move.
