We're recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and growing Building Management Systems company based in Leeds, who are looking for a proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys coordinating people, managing schedules and keeping operations running smoothly. You'll play a key role in supporting maintenance engineers, coordinating planned preventative maintenance and ensuring customer requirements are met. Previous experience within building services or maintenance would be advantageous, but our client is equally interested in candidates with strong coordination skills and a willingness to learn.

Role Snapshot
- Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
- Location: Leeds
- Contract: Permanent
- Working Pattern: Full-time, on-site
- Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per annum
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance coordination, administration, scheduling or a similar role would be advantageous
- Experience within facilities management, BMS, building services, construction or engineering would be beneficial but is not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities and deadlines
- Confident coordinating engineers, scheduling appointments and liaising with customers
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience using Construction Manager would be advantageous but is not essential
- Proactive, reliable and confident taking ownership of tasks and following actions through to completion
- Comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the business
