Coordinator, Client Accounting

UTA seeks a Coordinator, Client Accounting to join its team who will record client bookings and set up payment schedules as initiated by Agents and Agent Assistants. In a GAAP compliant accounting environment, this role will enter approved client bookings and review and modify existing bookings as necessary to reflect updated performance dates. This role will meet with Agents/Assistants on a routine basis and provide reporting to Agents to facilitate forecasting and collections. The ideal candidate will be a team player, problem solver, detail-oriented, effective communicator, and should be able to excel in a fast-paced work environment.

What You Will Do

  • Meet with Sales Operations Team and provide weekly updates on client booking status
  • Meet with assigned agents and assistants regularly (1-2 times per month) to ensure complete and accurate booking data and reports
  • Schedule and maintain client bookings entered by assistants for accuracy and completeness
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on invoices, statements, collections, debits, and any inquiries regarding client accounts
  • Navigate existing reporting with agents to support forecasting, collections, and insights into client performance
  • Prepare deposits for payment settlement and investigate payment issues
  • Initiate invoices and monitor accounts receivable (aging and pursuing collections)
  • Respond to agents and other stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain long-term relationships based on trust and confidentiality
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and projects

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • 2+ years of any accounting experience preferred
  • Entertainment experience a plus
  • Prior experience in a customer service focused role a plus
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and tenacious; to be successful, the role requires persistence and follow-up
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a very high volume of transactions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
