Coordinator, General Secretary’s Office
Salary: £40,448 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,195. There is the ability to progress to £44,029.83 over the next 2 years.
Location: Head Office London
Duration: Permanent
The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Coordinator, General Secretary’s Office. The post-holder will be responsible for the day to day coordination of the General Secretary’s Office, including executive support to the General Secretary and Chief of Staff, managing diaries, correspondence, event and visit planning and supporting communications with key stakeholders as well as administrative support for key functions within the GSO.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of the aims of the Labour Party and its internal structures
- Experience of diary management
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work priorities
- Ability to work on own initiative within a fast paced environment and prioritise work effectively
