Sony Pictures Entertainment is one of the world’s leading content creators and distributors, bringing iconic film and television to audiences across every platform. With a powerful global production network and one of the industry’s broadest content libraries, we connect stories to viewers in every major market.

Our TV Distribution Sales Planning team sits at the heart of this commercial team. We help shape product distribution strategy, support negotiations, and manage the end-to-end sales process - from franchise planning and rights management through to pricing, contracting, forecasting, and revenue delivery.

In this role, you will be a key support and partner to the Senior Manager, Sales Planning (EMEA), playing a central role in strengthening Sales Planning operations across EMEA - improving systems, refining processes, and regular sales and finance reporting.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role offering exposure to cross-functional teams across EMEA and LA. If you're detail-obsessed, process-driven, and eager to build real expertise in international media distribution, this is your entry point into a high-performing global team.

What You’ll Do

  • Projects & Processes: Driving strategic initiatives to enhance Sales Planning processes and efficiencies, ensuring all planners adhere to best practices.
  • System Improvements: Supporting all phases of new system enhancements/projects, including requirements gathering, UAT, implementation, and training.
  • Reporting & Information Requests: Deliver regular reporting and address ad-hoc requests for EMEA and Home Office (e.g. month-end reporting, TV Series sales reports, budget views, etc.).
  • Training: Conduct onboarding and training sessions for new starters and new system functionality, including managing updates for the training handbook.
  • Deal Approvals: Review requests for materials delivery and approve.
  • Sales Planning cover: Provide cover for territory planners, i.e., running avails, deal system entry, and processing revenue and materials delivery requests.
  • Team Administration: Manage calendars for 2 VPs, coordinate cross-territory and cross-functional meetings for EMEA Sales Planning, organise team conferences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
