Copilot Engineer

Location: Warwick - Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Rate: £425 per day inside IR35
Duration: 6 months initially

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Copilot Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot and the Microsoft technology stack. The role will focus on agentic AI workflows, productivity and process improvements, and delivering end-to-end solutions across architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end architecture for agentic AI workflows and solutions.
  • Define agent responsibilities, data schemas, variables, prompts, and tool integrations.
  • Develop solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Establish integrations across Teams, SharePoint, user interfaces, and automation layers.
  • Engage with stakeholders to capture use cases and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, architecture, and performance standards.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and support governance and approval processes.
  • Support prompt engineering, document indexing, agent deployment, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
  • Support business users and contribute to enterprise AI initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI solution development.
  • Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Experience designing and delivering agentic AI workflows.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI solution optimisation.
  • Experience integrating solutions with Teams and SharePoint.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and capture business requirements.
  • Experience delivering solutions across architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and architecture standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
