Eliot is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Specialist I to join our dynamic Adult Community Clinical Service (ACCS) team. ACCS provides clinically focused, evidence-based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person-centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community-based settings. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to adults facing severe and persistent mental health challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide interventions to clients that focus on problem-solving, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement
- Assist the team in providing ongoing assessments of client symptoms and their responses to staff interventions
- Support clients in their desire for recovery and rehabilitation in the development of their goals
- Ensure that services provided are culturally competent, strengths-based, and focused on rehabilitation and are inclusive of client preferences.
- Provide assistance to clients related to transportation to work sites, daily activities, and appointments

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Experience working with adults with mental illness
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
Schedule:
Sunday 9am-9pm, Saturday 9am-9pm (24 hours)
Hourly Rate
$20.50—$20.50 USD
