🌟 We’re Hiring: Health & Wellbeing Coach

Permanent, 0 hours contract requiring 3 days availability a week (Mon, Tue, Weds preferred)
Group session rate ÂŁ21.71 per hour
Field based across Mid & South Essex

Are you passionate about health improvement and enjoy motivating others to lead a healthier lifestyle? We’re looking for a Health & Wellbeing Coach to join our team and deliver face-to-face group sessions across our NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme.

Acacium Group are a leading global healthcare delivery partner and we are hiring a Health & Wellbeing Coach. Part of Acacium Group, Xyla's health and wellbeing team are dedicated to making the UK’s local communities healthier. We help people to understand and take control of their own health through sustained behaviour change, transforming lives for the better through weight management, quit smoking services, diabetes services, cardiovascular disease prevention and health coaching & social prescribing.

đź’ˇ About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct group delivery sessions to service users, and support with 1:1 delivery sessions if required.
  • Check and monitor the progress of the service users via weight management and goal review, consistently supporting patients in making behavioural changes.
  • Handle and uploading sensitive data, with attention to detail and maintaining accurate service user records.
  • Deliver engagement activities across multiple Integrated Care Boards, support targeted outreach initiatives, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through regular face-to-face interactions.

🎯 What You’ll Bring

We don’t expect perfection. If most of this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Confidence working with Microsoft packages like Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport.
  • Confidence delivering group sessions.
  • Must live around Chelmsford, and be able to travel around the local area up to 1 hour.
  • Must be able to drive & have a car - this role is field based.

📚 Experience and Qualifications We’re Looking For

  • Relevant health and wellbeing qualification such as (but not limited to) an undergraduate degree, diploma, or equivalent in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Psychology, Sport Science and/or a CIMSPA fitness qualification at level 3 or above
  • Experience delivering 1:1 or group sessions
  • A full drivers license with access to a vehicle
