Job Description
The Program Manager plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of projects and programs by providing structured project management, coordination, and reporting support. This role partners with project leads, change managers, and functional stakeholders to ensure work is planned, tracked, and executed with clarity and discipline.
The Program Manager focuses on day-to-day delivery execution, maintaining project plans, managing dependencies, tracking risks, and providing transparent status updates to enable informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead project charter development and alignment of scope and outcomes with sponsors
- Support Lead development of project planning activities, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Maintain detailed project plans and track progress against agreed milestones
- Coordinate tasks and dependencies across cross-functional teams
- Support on-time delivery by identifying risks, issues, and blockers
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and documentation
- Track and manage risks, issues, decisions, and actions (RAID logs)
- Manage change control process throughout projects
- Ensure project information is accurate, up to date, and accessible
- Support governance forums with materials, updates, and follow-ups
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a point of coordination between project team members and stakeholders
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and checkpoints
- Capture meeting notes, actions, and decisions and ensure follow-through
- Escalate risks or delays appropriately and facilitate mitigations and resolutions
- Enable informed decision-making and senior stakeholder alignment through clear, structured stakeholder communication
Portfolio & PMO Support
- Support portfolio-level tracking and reporting as required
- Assist with intake, prioritization, and documentation of new initiatives
- Help maintain PMO tools, templates, and standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and ways of working
- Ensure portfolio-level visibility and alignment to dependencies and priorities across projects

Collaboration with Change & Communications
- Partner with Change Managers and Change Communications Managers to align delivery timelines with change and communication activities
- Ensure key change and communication milestones align to project plans and deliverables
- Support readiness and go-live coordination activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-8 years experience supporting projects or programs in a structured delivery environment
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in cross-functional, matrixed teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a PMO or transformation environment
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Experience supporting technology, process, or operating-model initiatives
- Exposure to change management or transformation programs

Additional Information:
- Salary: 45.500 - 75.800 GBP gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
