Job description
We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Sales Ledger Assistant to join our fast-paced, fun, vibrant office located in Warrington town centre, with great transport links to bus and train stations. Due to the growth in our business and increased workloads, we are looking to strengthen our team with an organised Sales Ledger Assistant to help assist the team in the day-to-day running of the department within Billing and Credit Control.
As a Sales Ledger Assistant you will be organised, proactive, and professional. The Sales Ledger Assistant will join the Billing Team to ensure deadlines are met. As a Sales Ledger Assistant you will report directly into the Sales Ledger Manager whilst having the support from the Accounts Team.
The role of Sales Ledger Assistant
- Issue and send out sales invoices
- Reconciling customer statements with company records to ensure accuracy
- Month-end Sales Ledger tasks
- Sales Ledger administration
- Work closely with the Payroll Team to ensure Invoicing and Payroll align and balance
- Sales Ledger query resolution (internally or externally)
- Undertaking any other ad hoc duties which may be requested by the Sales Ledger Manager

Monday to Friday, day shifts (45 hours)

The Successful Candidate will:
- Be driven, positive, and creative
- Have excellent computer skills, especially Excel
- At least 2 years of previous experience within a similar role in Accounts
- Able to work on their own initiative and manage their own workload to strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate at all levels in a professional manner
- Excellent team worker
- Have a sharp eye for detail
- Possess the ability to build, and maintain, strong relationships
- Has an excellent attention to detail and can prioritize their workload
