About the Role
As a Strategic Project Manager, Implementation, you will own delivery for Multiplier's most complex and commercially important customer implementations. These are large, multi-country programmes with senior stakeholders, integrations and tight timelines, where the implementation has a direct impact on the customer relationship and revenue.
You will be the senior delivery lead on each account, running governance with the customer's leadership team, holding internal teams and the customer to the plan, and stepping in early when a programme starts to drift. You will work closely with Implementation Managers, Product, Engineering, Integrations, Sales and Customer Success, and act as the escalation point for Project Managers working on your accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery for a small portfolio of strategic and enterprise accounts, from contract signature through go-live and stabilisation.
- Build the programme plan across all countries and workstreams, including milestones, dependencies, owners and the critical path.
- Set up the governance model with the customer, including steering committees, working sessions, RACI and escalation routes.
- Lead executive-level governance meetings and keep senior stakeholders on both sides aligned on scope, timeline and risk.
- Plan and run phased, multi-country rollouts, sequencing countries and coordinating the Implementation Manager for each.
- Own the RAID log for each programme and resolve or escalate risks before they affect go-live dates.
- Manage scope and change control, making sure out-of-scope requests and timeline changes are agreed, documented and approved.
- Coordinate integration and data workstreams with the customer's HR, finance and IT teams.
- Recover programmes that are behind plan or in escalation, resetting the plan and rebuilding confidence with the customer.
- Provide clear status reporting to customer executives and Multiplier leadership.
- Work with Sales in the late stages of strategic deals to set a realistic delivery approach and timeline before contract.
- Ensure readiness and exit criteria are met before each go-live, and lead the handover into Operations and Customer Success.
- Act as an escalation point and mentor for Project Managers, and help raise the standard of project management across the team.
- Feed lessons from strategic programmes back into implementation methodology, templates and tooling.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
