Banking Copywriter - Short Contract
We are looking for an experienced Banking Copywriter to support the content development of an international digital banking project.
This is a contract role, structured per module. The initial contract will cover Module 1, with the possibility of additional contracts for subsequent modules.
Requirements
- Proven experience in banking, fintech or financial services
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- Strong understanding of UX writing and digital products
- Ability to translate complex banking language into clear, concise and user-friendly content
- Comfortable working directly in Figma
- Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders
- Confident preparing and facilitating copywriting and content workshops with stakeholders
- Able to gather requirements, challenge assumptions and translate stakeholder input into effective customer-facing copy
- Strong attention to tone of voice, terminology and consistency
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience in Southern and/or East African markets preferred
- Fast, autonomous and reliable
- Comfortable working with international teams and across different time zones
