Copywriter (6 month FTC)
£45,000 to £60,000 per annum, pro rata

Working pattern: Fixed term contract, hybrid, 2 days a week in the office
Location: London
A global creative agency needs a Middleweight Copywriter for a six-month contract, starting as soon as possible, to write for a premium lifestyle brand.
The big campaign ideas are already in place. Your job would be to make them work where customers actually read them: their inbox, the website and digital banners. You would work day to day with the brand's own creatives rather than sitting at the end of an account handler's email.

What you would be running:
- Email copy from subject line to call to action, covering launches, seasonal moments and welcome, loyalty and post-purchase programmes
- Web copy across landing pages, collection pages, product descriptions and onsite banners
- Taking one campaign idea and making it land in a dozen formats and several markets
- Walking the client through your copy and holding your ground when the thinking is right

- A portfolio of email and digital work for brands people pay a premium for
- The ability to pick up a brand's voice quickly and hold it across a high volume of work
- Proofing you would stake your name on
- The organisation to keep several launches moving at once

Useful but not essential: jewellery or premium retail, ecommerce product copy, writing triggered and personalised emails, and AI writing tools.
One thing worth being clear on: this is not a blank-page concept job. Writers whose portfolios are mostly TV scripts and big idea pitches are unlikely to be a fit.
What counts here is email and web work for a premium brand that you owned from brief to send.
