Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Copywriter to join our Marketing team in London. This mid-level role is ideal for an experienced writer who can create engaging, accurate, and compelling content across a range of digital and traditional channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing copy for websites, marketing campaigns, social media, articles, presentations, and other communications, while translating complex technical information into clear and accessible messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation

    • Write engaging and high-quality copy for websites, landing pages, blogs, articles, case studies, brochures, and marketing materials.
    • Develop both long-form and short-form content for different audiences and platforms.
    • Translate complex technical information into clear, accessible, and engaging content.
    • Research relevant industry topics to support accurate and informative content.
  • Campaign & Digital Copy

    • Develop copy for integrated marketing and lead generation campaigns.
    • Create engaging content for email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and other online channels.
    • Work closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure messaging supports campaign objectives.
    • Adapt copy appropriately for different audiences, platforms, and stages of the customer journey.

  • Website & SEO Content

    • Create and update website copy, service pages, landing pages, and other digital content.
    • Support SEO initiatives through keyword-focused and search-friendly content.
    • Review existing website content and recommend improvements to messaging, structure, and tone.
  • Brand & Communications

    • Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across company communications.
    • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, and quality.
    • Support the development of brand messaging and communication guidelines.
    • Collaborate with Graphic Design and Marketing colleagues to produce integrated creative content.
  • Content Planning

    • Support the development and maintenance of content calendars.
    • Manage multiple content projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts to gather information for content development.
    • Identify new content opportunities based on industry trends, business priorities, and audience interests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of professional copywriting, content writing, or communications experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality writing across different formats and channels.
  • Excellent written English, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex or technical subjects clearly.
  • Experience creating content for websites, digital campaigns, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Good understanding of SEO and digital content best practices.
  • Strong research, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to deadlines.

  • Experience working within a B2B, technology, SaaS, engineering, or innovation-focused environment.
  • Experience writing about technical products or services.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
