About The Role:

The Crowd are partnered with an internationally acclaimed, leading architecture practice that are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Copywriter with a passion for storytelling and a sharp eye for detail to help produce and develop editorial and marketing collateral.

The role will involve the research, creation and editing of clear, engaging and persuasive content across both digital and print channels. You will have a strong understanding of different audiences and be able to adapt your writing style and approach across a variety of communications and collateral. You will play an important role in shaping the practices public-facing written material, ensuring all content is consistently well written, engaging and aligned with the wider brand. This will include communicating key themes, showcasing projects and helping to strengthen the organisation’s profile through compelling storytelling.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual looking for their next long-term opportunity within a leading design studio. This is a newly created position as the practice continues to grow, offering the opportunity to bring your expertise to the role, make your mark and play a key part in the continued development of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and proofread written content for accuracy, clarity and audience relevance
  • Develop engaging content across digital, print, social and internal communications
  • Create compelling narratives that communicate projects and new ideas
  • Research relevant topics and identify opportunities for new content
  • Improve content for overall digital engagement
  • Collaborate with teams to gather information and translate complex material into accessible copy
  • Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, brand and style across all communications

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of architecture and the wider built environment
  • Proven written examples of work as a copywriter or communications specialist
  • Stand out writing and editing skills
  • Previous experience writing award submissions
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Good experience using social media platforms
