Copywriter Opportunity at Harrods' City Road Studio

We're looking for a Copywriter to join our e-commerce product copywriting team at Harrods' City Road Studio on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Copywriter to join our Studio team at Harrods. As a member of the Creative Studio, you will write succinct, accurate and commercially focused product descriptions, highlighting key features to engage the harrods.com customer.

You will write up to 40 product descriptions per day across all luxury categories (fashion, accessories, childrenswear, home, food and more), interacting with the physical products and drawing on your own knowledge of fashion terminology, trends and research skills to write this copy.

This role’s responsibilities also include spot checking errors on the harrods.com site, collaborating with the team as a category representative and picking up ad hoc content work across our editorial outputs.

About You

You will have a high level of spelling and grammar, knowledge of terminology across fashion and lifestyle categories, and exceptional attention to detail. You will have strong IT skills, and experience using a Content Management System (CMS) would also be beneficial.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
