Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid)

Reports to: Digital Design Lead
Contract length: 8 weeks
Role overview
The Copywriter supports Tesco Creative Studio by creating compelling, customer-focused content for the F&F Clothing & Home business. You'll help bring campaigns, promotions and brand activity to life through engaging copy across digital, social, CRM, print and in-store channels.
Working closely with designers, marketers and creative teams, you'll ensure every piece of communication is on-brand, customer-centric and aligned to Tesco's tone of voice.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Development
- Write engaging copy for F&F Clothing & Home campaigns across multiple customer touchpoints.
- Develop headlines, campaign messaging, product-focused content and customer communications.
- Adapt copy for different formats and audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Contribute creative ideas and concepts that support campaign objectives and customer engagement.

Content Creation & Delivery
- Create copy across digital, email, social, website, print and in-store channels.
- Translate briefs into clear, compelling and commercially effective communications.
- Ensure all copy is accurate, on-brand and delivered to agreed deadlines.
- Support content updates, campaign rollouts and seasonal activity across the F&F portfolio.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with designers, artworkers and marketing teams to develop integrated creative solutions.
- Present ideas and respond positively to feedback from stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships across the Creative Studio and wider business.
- Support a collaborative team culture that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
Skills & experience
- 2-3 years' experience in an agency or in-house copywriting role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, copy craft and tone of voice expertise.
- Experience writing across multiple channels, including digital, social, CRM and print.
- Ability to translate complex briefs into simple, engaging customer communications.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
