Your Responsibilities

Are you a talented copywriter who’s happy tackling a range of complex subjects and who can work both collaboratively and autonomously? We’re looking for someone who’ll proactively partner with stakeholders across our business. Your role will involve transforming their information and insights into highly engaging client-facing communications. We’ll be looking to you to come up with ideas, to initiate conversations and to create content across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating accurate, engaging copy for a wide variety of formats and platforms, including website copy, brochures, flyers, emails, brochures, SEO copy, case studies and campaigns.
  • Overseeing consistent and appropriate application of our brand tone of voice
  • Editing and translating technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) content into clear client-friendly copy
  • Actively engaging with stakeholders – Interviewing SMEs to get the right information, insights and client benefits needed to develop strong content, managing feedback, offering constructive challenge, and learning from input
  • Being an advocate for our clients
  • Taking ownership of projects – putting forward ideas, driving momentum and remaining highly organised throughout
  • Understanding SEO/GEO principles and incorporating them naturally into digital copy

You should have the following experience:

  • Previous experience in B2B, ideally in Insurance or Financial Services
  • Solid track record of written comms across a range of channels and media – including web, brochures, social media and campaigns.
  • Experience of implementing tone of voice across multiple channels
  • A true passion for language
  • A strong interest in business – and eagerness to keep up-to-date with trends and sector insights.
  • Able to convert complex messages into easily understandable, engaging copy.
  • To be organised and methodical, as well as conceptual and ideas-driven
  • Detail-orientated, with a keen eye for spotting typos and grammatical errors, ensuring content is flawless before publication.
  • Ability to work at pace – and to be flexible when the business’s needs change.
  • Ability to manage and implement feedback quickly and maintain grace under pressure.
  • Managing and prioritising own workload effectively
  • Managing multiple briefs at once with a good degree of autonomy
  • Ability to collaborate and work with stakeholders at all levels across the business
