The Role:

Coravin Product Manager

Reports to:

Senior Director of Global Marketing

Direct Reports:

Dotted line from Assistant Brand & Product Marketing Manager (US Based) on Product Marketing

Location: UK

Role Summary:

The Product Manager owns the roadmap for Coravin's physical product portfolio i.e. Wine by-the-glass systems and associated SKU pack outs, accessories and added value products.

This is a truly cross functional role requiring engagement with the internal teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance) and external suppliers.

This role is responsible for translating consumer and commercial insights into product requirements, ensuring products are delivered at the appropriate performance, cost, quality and timescale to support Coravin's commercial goals.

Reporting into the Global Brand Marketing Director, the Product Manager ensures product decisions are grounded in brand strategy and market opportunity, while working day-to-day with Engineering and Operations to bring products to life.

Roles & Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own and maintain the product roadmap for all product lines, aligned to brand strategy and business priorities, from concept to launch.
  • Develop product pipeline based on commercial input, consumer insight and competitive analysis.
  • Lead the prioritization of the product pipeline with key stakeholders (leadership), balancing commercial and market opportunities with the available resources helping deliver consensus using business models and data.
  • Build and maintain the business cases for any new product development (NPD) project, including cost, margin, and forecast volume.

Engineering, Supply Chain & Operations Collaboration

  • Work in partnership with Engineering throughout design, development, and testing to ensure products meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Work with Global Supply Chain on planning, manufacturing timelines, sourcing, and cost management.
  • Address trade-offs between product ambition, engineering feasibility, and production cost/timeline.
  • Track product quality and performance issues and drive resolution in partnership with Engineering and Operations, including post-launch performance.

Sales, Marketing and Finance Team Engagement

  • Partner with Marketing Team and Product Marketing Manager on positioning, packaging, and messaging to ensure it accurately reflects product capabilities.
  • Partner with Sales to understand channel, customer and pricing requirements, feeding these into the roadmap to develop go-to-market planning.
  • Partner with Finance team to build costing and financial models in order to validate business case and assess level of priority.
  • Work with both Marketing Team and Product Marketing Manager, launch materials & training.

Lifecycle & Performance Management

  • Monitor product performance post-launch, including sales, returns, and customer feedback, and feed learnings back into the roadmap.
  • Report regularly on product performance and roadmap status to the Global Brand Marketing Director and relevant stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in product management, ideally within premium consumer goods spanning both DTC & B2B channels.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, comfortable managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders at once.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
