Founded in 2017 by experienced business owners, we set out to challenge traditional banking by offering more flexibility, understanding, and practical support to help businesses thrive. Since receiving our banking licence in 2021, we’ve built a loyal customer base and a strong, diverse team that puts people first.

Our vision is building stronger futures with bespoke financial solutions. We understand that no two financial needs are the same, which is why we work closely with UK SMEs and individuals to unlock potential others often overlook. Through smart, flexible lending and savings products, we’re here to build and grow stronger futures for lasting success.

Our values shape how we work and grow together:

  • Can do, will do: We take ownership, solve problems, and adapt as our customers’ needs evolve.
  • Be brilliant: We show up with curiosity and energy, always striving for better.
  • Do the right thing: We act with integrity, responsibility, and care in everything we do.
  • Make a difference: We focus on impact, helping our customers, colleagues, and communities succeed.

Own the optimisation, configuration, and ongoing development of the Bank's core banking platform (Mambu), ensuring it effectively supports lending products, accounting processes, operational workflows, and system integrations. Act as the platform subject matter expert, driving continuous improvement, resolving platform and product issues, implementing best practices, supporting new product development, and ensuring the platform remains aligned with business needs, regulatory requirements, and evolving platform capabilities. Mambu is the Bank's primary core banking platform for managing lending products, customer accounts, accounting events, and related operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the configuration, administration, and optimisation of the Bank's core banking platform, ensuring it remains stable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
  • Lead the review and remediation of existing platform configurations, accounting structures, product setups, and operational processes, implementing sustainable improvements and best practices.
  • Deliver the configuration and launch of new lending products and enhancements, ensuring products meet business, operational, financial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain product parameters including interest calculations, fees, repayment schedules, accounting treatments, settlement accounts, liability accounts, and servicing processes.
  • Own and maintain platform accounting configurations, including sub-ledger structures, general ledger mappings, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve platform, product, accounting, and operational issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term corrective actions.
  • Manage and enhance integrations between the core banking platform and internal or third-party systems, ensuring data integrity, operational resilience, and effective exception management.
  • Define, document, and improve processes, controls, and procedures relating to product management, platform administration, accounting operations, and customer servicing.
  • Advise stakeholders on platform capabilities, product design, operational processes, and industry best practices, supporting effective decision making across the Bank.
  • Monitor platform releases, roadmap developments, and emerging capabilities, including Adjustable Interest Rate Products and other new functionality, assessing opportunities to improve the Bank's operating model and product offering
  • Own the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements whilst maintaining platform stability, scalability, and performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
