Role Overview

Ekiva is looking for an experienced Core Deployment & 5G Slice Integration Engineer to support deployment, integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of multi-vendor mobile core networks, Private 5G Core platforms, and enterprise connectivity solutions.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with 4G EPC, 5G Core, network slicing, subscriber management, Core integration, and end-to-end service validation.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Deploy and integrate mobile core network solutions for Private 5G and enterprise networks.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Core Network software components.
  • Configure Core Network services and management platforms.
  • Perform:
    • Subscriber provisioning
    • SIM management
    • APN/DNN configuration
    • Service profile configuration
  • Support 5G network slicing configuration and validation.
  • Perform Core integration with:
    • RAN networks
    • IP Transport networks
    • Enterprise applications
  • Execute:
    • End-to-end connectivity testing
    • ATP execution
    • Acceptance testing
  • Perform:
    • Alarm validation
    • Fault troubleshooting
    • Root cause analysis
  • Support:
    • Software upgrades
    • Licensing activities
    • Backup and restore procedures
  • Prepare deployment documentation and technical reports.
  • Support technical workshops and solution discussions.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical inputs into:
    • Solution design
    • Deployment planning
    • Acceptance criteria

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in Mobile Core Network engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • 4G EPC
    • 5G Core
    • Private 5G Core
    • Mobile Network Architecture
    • Network Slicing
  • Experience with Core Network vendors including:
    • Ericsson
    • Nokia
    • Samsung
    • Huawei
    • Equivalent platforms
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • AMF
    • SMF
    • UPF
    • UDM
    • AUSF
    • PCF
    • Subscriber Management
  • Experience integrating Core with RAN and IP Transport networks.
  • Understanding of:
    • IP networking
    • VLAN
    • Routing
    • VPN
    • Firewall connectivity
  • Ability to work directly with customers, partners, and technical teams.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
