Hiring: Core Python Developer | Contract
Location: Northampton, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week
Job Type: Contract
We are looking for an experienced Core Python Developer with strong expertise in Python development, data processing, file handling, and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python libraries, testing frameworks, and data transformation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Python scripts for data processing and transformation.
- Use Pandas and NumPy extensively for data analysis and manipulation.
- Handle structured and unstructured data formats including CSV, JSON, XML, and APIs.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing and regression testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Translate analytical and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and workflows.

Essential Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with Python file handling techniques.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile teams.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or similar data science environments.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience using Git and SonarQube.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and JIRA.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
