The impact you will have in this role
The “Corporate Actions Testing IC Senior Associate” supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Corporate Actions and/or Underwriting.
The individual is a detail-oriented, methodical professional who will apply excellent communication skills in collaborating with team members. They will demonstrate a willingness to learn and advance their knowledge of software testing and quality assurance best practices with an added focus on automation. Requires knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle model (SILC), Agile and Waterfall methodologies, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and JIRA reporting for issues. The individual will need in-depth knowledge of Corporate Actions.
About Enterprise Services Operations
The Enterprise Services Operations organization is responsible for all operations and asset services supporting the following DTCC businesses: The Depository Trust Company (DTC), National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC), Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) – Government Securities Division (GSD) & Mortgage-Backed Securities Division (MBSD), and Wealth Management Services (WMS), Insurance & Retirement Services (I&RS) GBO's mission is to provide the Securities Industry with superior operations processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency. Asset servicing Operations Testing is responsible for testing system enhancements as well as new applications on behalf of the end user to validate that the expected results have been met prior to production deployment. Testing takes place in a non-production region to closely simulate the production environment.

Key Functions and Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management, Operations and IT, and are part of squads across multiple projects
- Perform automation as needed with the available testing tools
- Sign-off on new functionality, changes, or fault fixes before production deployment
- Evidence of test plans, test cases and post-test reports
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Lead testing efforts across large or multiple initiatives.
- Manage stakeholder engagement activities and production readiness requirements.
- Review testing coverage, strategy, and quality.
- Develops test plans and cases via AQM. Executes test cases required for end-to-end testing on distributed and/or mainframe test environments.
- Lead critical defect triage and risk discussions.
- Review and approve testing artifacts.
- Coordinate release readiness activities and signoffs.
- Train and support Analysts and Associates.
- Drive process improvements and testing efficiencies.
- Supporting automation and AI-enabled testing initiatives
- Provide management reporting, metrics, and portfolio-level visibility.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Stays current on changes in their own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.
- Requires a functional understanding of distributed and/or mainframe test environments
- Strong knowledge of corporate actions, and/or underwriting and the securities industry in general
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the entire software implementation lifecycle (SILC)
- Possess exposure to tools like JIRA, Application Lifecycle Management (AQM), applied AI agents like Copilot or KIRO day to day.
- Knowledge of automation using Selenium framework and excel macros is a plus.
- Fosters a culture where honesty and transparency are expected.
- Stays current on changes in his/her own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up-to-date.
- Invests effort to individually coach others.
- Builds collaborative teams across the organization.
- Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.
