About the Role
The post-holder will join the Corporate Applications Team and play a key role in the support, administration, configuration, registration authority and optimisation of a range of clinical systems and digital applications across Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The role will contribute to the delivery of safe, reliable and user-focused digital services that support both patient care and operational effectiveness.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as the vacancy may close once sufficient suitable applications have been received. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in the Corporate Applications on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support for critical services.
Responsibilities
The post holder will provide technical and operational support as part of the Corporate Applications Team, working with clinical and non-clinical staff, stakeholders, suppliers, and Digital & Technology teams to support a portfolio of critical applications. The role is responsible for incident and request management, system administration, configuration, user access management, Registration Authority services, role-based access control (RBAC), starter and leaver processes, doctors’ inductions, testing, and change implementation.

The post holder will support key systems including CareFlow EPR, RiO, SmartNotes, CMM, Narrative, TOCA e-Triage, AVT, Patient Flow, Connect, Vitals, Workspace, TotalMobile, Community PEP, Plan of Care, Registration Authority services, and Identity & Access Management solutions. The role will help maintain system availability, data quality, information governance compliance, clinical safety standards, and operational continuity to support safe and effective patient care.
Working closely with Senior Corporate Applications Analysts, clinicians, operational teams, project teams and suppliers, the post holder will support business-as-usual services and Digital Health Programme initiatives, ensuring digital solutions continue to meet organisational and patient needs.
Working Conditions
The post holder will work flexibly across Trust sites and participate in the Corporate Applications on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support for critical systems and services.
