The Council is keen to develop new ways of working to maximise the efficiency and performance of our corporate assets to enable the effective delivery of our front-line services. As such we are looking for a highly motivated, resilient Facilities Management Technical Team Lead who will play a key role in our small team to shape our delivery of corporate asset facilities and utilities management services across our property portfolio.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong expertise in facilities management and people management.
- Proven experience in managing utilities.
- Effective negotiation and leadership skills to drive relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities to oversee asset data and inform key decisions.
- A qualification in Facilities Management, Building Compliance, Building Surveying or Asset Management (or working towards). Alternatively, have extensive relevant demonstrable experience and be willing to work towards a qualification within a 2-year period of commencement of the role.
