Salary: £140,000–£160,000
PQE: 3–6 years
Location: London/Hybrid
Working Pattern: Full-time
Jurisdiction: England & Wales

An Exclusive Opportunity with a Leading International Law Firm

We are delighted to be exclusively representing a leading international law firm on a confidential, off-market search for a Corporate Associate to join its London practice.

This is a rare opportunity to explore a high-calibre corporate role that is not being openly advertised, offering the successful candidate the chance to join an established international practice with a strong focus on UK public markets and private mergers and acquisitions.

With a competitive salary of £140,000–£160,000, this position is suited to a commercially minded solicitor with approximately 3–6 years' post-qualification experience who is looking to build on their transactional expertise, work on sophisticated corporate matters and develop their career within an international legal environment.

The firm is seeking an ambitious, technically strong and proactive individual who can contribute to a varied corporate workload, manage client matters effectively and work closely with experienced supervising partners. Cross-border transactional experience would be particularly desirable, while experience in the energy and mining sectors is highly desirable, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates with relevant industry expertise to bring additional value to the practice.

The role also offers an attractive annual billable hours target of approximately 1,400–1,600 hours, making it particularly appealing to candidates seeking high-quality transactional work within an international firm alongside a more balanced approach to working hours.

As this is an exclusive, off-market mandate, further details will be shared confidentially with suitable candidates.

The Role

Working closely with supervising partners and the wider Corporate Department, you will be involved in a broad range of corporate matters, with responsibilities including:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
