Corporate Associate/Senior Associate
Life Sciences
Location: London
PQE: 1+ PQE
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Salary: Competitive
I’m working with a leading UK law firm that is looking to appoint a Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing, sector-focused Life Sciences Corporate practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Corporate lawyer who wants to develop their career within the Life Sciences and Technology sectors, working alongside highly experienced Corporate Partners on sophisticated UK and cross-border transactions.
The wider Corporate practice consists of more than 70 lawyers and advises clients ranging from entrepreneurs and high-growth businesses through to financial institutions and major corporates. The Life Sciences practice works with businesses and investors across areas including biotech, medtech, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.
The Role
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of corporate transactions, including:
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Private equity transactions
- Fundraisings and investments
- Corporate disposals
- Joint ventures
- Shareholder arrangements
- Corporate reorganisations and demergers
- Corporate structures and governance
- Due diligence
- Cross-border corporate transactions
- Advising businesses and investors operating within the Life Sciences and Technology sectors

You'll work closely with senior lawyers while having the opportunity to manage your own matters and client relationships with increasing autonomy. Private equity experience is an important requirement for the position.
About You
We're interested in speaking with Corporate lawyers from approximately 1 PQE upwards, including candidates currently operating at Associate or Senior Associate level.
Ideally, you'll have:
- A strong background within a recognised Corporate team
- Good experience across M&A and general corporate transactions
- Experience handling Private Equity matters
- Strong drafting and transactional skills
- Experience managing transactions and client relationships
- Strong commercial awareness
- The ability to run matters with limited supervision
- An interest in developing a sector specialism within Life Sciences and Technology
- Experience within Life Sciences, healthcare, biotech, medtech or technology would be advantageous
