The Corporate Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Corporate Associate will advise on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and general corporate governance matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents
- Conducting legal due diligence
- Reviewing finance and security documentation
- Providing practical, commercially focused advice to clients
- Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas
- Managing client communications
- Supporting business development initiatives
- Staying current with developments in corporate law and regulation
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Corporate Law, with experience advising on corporate transactions and governance matters.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills and expertise in Due Diligence, including reviewing complex documentation and identifying key legal and commercial risks.
- Solid understanding of Finance principles as they relate to corporate and transactional work.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to convey complex legal issues clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience in corporate law.
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong client service orientation and interest in business development and relationship management.
- Experience with cross-border transactions and working with international clients is an advantage.
